PROGRAMS AND SERVICES:
Summer Reading Program. A reading challenge for K-5th graders. Runs June through July. Wednesdays, 10:30am. Check website for schedule.
PreK Toddler Time. A multi-sensory, fun activity time for toddlers and their parents. Runs September through May. Tuesdays, 10:30am in the Library’s children’s department.
Music and Magazines. Enjoy reading to the relaxing sounds of the Library’s baby grand piano. Fridays, 9am-12noon.
Genealogy Workshop. Learn how to research your family history. Thursdays, 10am in the Library’s meeting room.
Community Collections. Patrons share their hobbies and heirlooms in the library lobby display cases.
Puzzles, chess, board games and art are always available for in-house enjoyment.
Business support services. Copying, faxing, laminating, notary, computers with standard Microsoft office software, and other services are available to the citizens of the area.
LIBRARY CARDS:
Young County residents may acquire a library card for a $1.00. Out-of-county residents may have a card for a family fee of $20.
