Graham Enacts Stage 2 Water Restrictions
The City of Graham is enacting Stage 2 Water Restrictions effective November 4, 2013. Outside watering is limited to twice per week and only between the hours of 7 pm and 10 am. Addresses ending in even numbers may water only on Thursday and Sunday. Addresses ending in odd numbers may water only on Wednesday and Saturday. Failure to comply can be a misdemeanor and subject to a fine of not more than $1000 (one thousand dollars). Each day of failure to comply can be determined a separate offense. If a person is convicted of more than three offenses, service can be discontinued by the city. Wholesale customers such as the Cities of Newcastle, Bryson and Throckmorton, Ft. Belknap Water Supply Corporation and Graham East Water Supply are required to comply with the restrictions.
Free Mulch for Residents
The City of Graham is offering free mulch to residents in an effort to help reduce water use needs during the drought. Mulch can be picked up Mon-Fri between 10 am and 6 pm at the Convenience Station located at 1421 Ave F.
